MD-4 Lions Clubs recently held their Student Speakers Contest for the club level competition on the topic of "Freedom of the Press: What does it mean to you?"
Club level winners Isabella Ely, freshman Ari Alter, and freshman Zoe Osborn advance to the next level of competition, the “Zone” level, on March 2 at the Dows Prairie Grange.
Congratulations also to the other NPA participants: Bow Piyasiriluksikia, Lila Cohen, Siena Costanzo, Abram Rau, and Autumn Wright.

NPA Sophomore Acacia Castillo won the county-level Poetry Out Loud Competition. Congratulations, Acacia!
Acacia performed on the floor of the California Senate Chamber at our State Capitol Building, with our state senator Mike McGuire and other representatives watching in admiration.

NPA will once again be participating in an exchange with our sister school, Anand Vidya Vihar, in the winter of 2019/2020. Topics will include specifics of the exchange and the planning process as well as addressing any questions.
Interested students should attend.
